How to make all A’s and B’s
November 7, 2022 2022-11-07 22:17How to make all A’s and B’s
I have researched How to Make All A’s and B’s for several years. My findings have led me to conduct several seminars with marvelous results. It has impressed my heart to share these very practical findings with our community at large. If you or someone you know needs help or desires to maintain superb grades, the following will be a great addition to whatever successful system they already have. Happy learning!
Pray. God will grant those who are righteous and please Him the ability to retain knowledge, understanding, and wisdom with application from learning and not just storing information in short-term memory, which is weak learning. How do you get all of this from God? Ask Him for it and believe that He will give it to you because you know that He knows that you need it! (Matthew 6:7-9a) God loves you and desires your great success more than you do!
School is over once all homework is done, AND homework includes reviewing everything taught that day two (2) times! Doing this daily will ensure you have a lesser need to study hard for any test! (Viewing or hearing anything once results in retaining only 20-30% of the information. Reviewing the same information only two (2) more times results in retention of 80% or better)!
Never eat or drink anything after school until homework is done. (Consult your physician if you have
difficulty with this fast or your present health requires consuming food and/or beverage). Distilled water is permitted because it does not require digestion and lacks minerals. Digestion forces blood flow to the digestive system to assist in digestion. A significant percentage of the blood from your brain will also rush to assist digestion. Therefore, studying while eating causes several organs to battle for the blood required to function. This can cause light to severe headaches. If you must eat, wait at least two (2) hours after eating before studying.
NEVER watch television or listen to music before or during your study time. These leisure activities slow down your brain waves, and you will become tired faster because you tell your brain waves to slow down by watching TV or listening to music. But, simultaneously, you are forcing the waves to speed up because you are making your body’s brain study. This also can cause light to severe headaches. As a note, brain waves move faster while sleeping than they do while watching TV!
Study for at most fifteen (15) minutes. At about 15 minutes, take breathing, walking, rest-eyes, bathroom, distilled water, etc. breaks! DO NOT LIE DOWN! DO NOT TAKE A NAP – your brain waves still move faster while studying than when you sleep. If you go to sleep, your brain waves will slow down to a level wherein you may very well experience a headache by trying to increase brain wave activity again by studying.
Study only in the library or any quiet place other than your dorm room, bedroom, or wherever you relax. Subconsciously, your mind knows where you relax, and it will go into relaxation mode once you have entered that room.
